Striking, Shooting, And Trading!!

Today was an adventure that started off with a yummy breakfast and we went over all that we were going to do today. After we ate our plates clean, we had our lessons in which we pretended to have a birthday party, made movies, learned about our Chinese Zodiac signs, and we wrote letters to ourselves to open at the end of camp! Then we skipped over to lunch and filled our tummies with some noddles and vegetables. Delicious! We then slipped on our bowling shoes and put on our game faces to strike some pins down at the bowling alley. We couldn’t believe how natural bowling came to many of us, and we got a lot of laughs in as well. Once we got our final scores in, we made our way back to Sait to try our hand at hockey on the ice. Yes, REAL ICE. It was awesome; we slipped and glided around and got to shoot some pucks on net. Once our skills were in tip-top shape, we played a game and now we LOOOOOVE hockey! Finally, we went around our local neighbourhood and played the paperclip game! We got to trade items with Calgarians in our area and we spoke English so well in front of others. We started with a paperclip and we ended with some pretty cool stuff! Who knew trading could so fun?! Today was beautiful outside and filled with so many fun activities we can’t wait to try more things during our time here. Till next time!
