Mall Madness and Talent Show Prep!

Today was an exciting day for our Wynchemna Senior students, combining learning, shopping, great food, and plenty of creativity!

The morning began with three engaging English lessons, where students continued building their language skills, participating in discussions, activities, and teamwork with classmates from around the world. After a productive morning in the classroom, it was time for one of the most anticipated events of the summer — Mall Day!

The students headed to Chinook Shopping Centre, ready to explore one of Calgary’s largest malls. From clothing and souvenirs to snacks, gifts, and all kinds of treasures, students enjoyed the freedom to shop for anything they liked. The mall was full of excitement as friends compared purchases, discovered new stores, and practiced their English in real-life situations while interacting with shop employees and other shoppers.

After an afternoon of shopping adventures, everyone gathered for a well-earned supper at Boston Pizza, where students enjoyed delicious pasta and fresh salad while sharing stories about their favourite purchases and funniest moments from the day.

The fun wasn’t over yet! Back on campus, the students turned their attention to preparing for the upcoming talent show. The halls were filled with music, laughter, dancing, and rehearsals as performers polished their acts and built excitement for the big event. With so much talent and enthusiasm on display, the talent show is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the summer!

From English lessons to shopping bags and talent show practice, today was another memorable day for the Wynchemna Seniors. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
