A Canada Day to Remember! 🇨🇦☀️

What an incredible Canada Day our campers had! From cultural celebrations to delicious food, outdoor adventures, and new friendships, it was a day packed with unforgettable moments.

We started the day with a visit to the Confluence for the Canada Day Powwow, where campers experienced the vibrant sights and sounds of Indigenous culture through traditional dancing, music, and celebrations. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, celebrate, and appreciate an important part of Canada's heritage.

After all that excitement, everyone was ready for lunch, and the Vietnamese sandwiches were a big hit! With full bellies and lots of energy, we headed to the National Music Centre, where campers explored hands-on exhibits, discovered incredible musical history, and couldn't resist trying out some amazing instruments.

The beautiful summer weather called for plenty of outdoor fun, so we spent the afternoon playing games, running around, and making the most of every sunny moment. So many of our campers are very talented athletes! There were smiles everywhere you looked!

A quick dinner of chicken souvlaki, a greek classic, brought us to a placement exam. All of our campers tried their very best to showcase their English abilities, giving the teachers the information to make the best lessons for all of our students! We then split students up into groups and ended the night with three different activities: baking, singing songs, and air hockey and foosball!

After such a full day of celebrating, exploring, playing, and connecting, everyone was more than ready to settle in for a well-deserved night's rest. We know they'll be waking up tomorrow ready for another day of summer camp adventures!
