Crazy Kayakers!
At Wynchemna today, we kicked off the morning with energetic and interactive English lessons that had everyone smiling and participating. After working up an appetite, we headed to the cafeteria for a hearty lunch. The food was delicious and gave us the energy we needed for a jam-packed afternoon of outdoor adventures.
First up: kayaking! We hit the water with paddles in hand, learning the basics and then exploring the lake together and playing some team games. Some of us were naturals right away, and others might have gone in circles once or twice—but we all had a blast and enjoyed the sunshine.
Next, we switched gears and hit the baseball field. Whether it was your first time swinging a bat or you’re a seasoned player, there was something for everyone. Team spirit was high, and there were plenty of laughs along the way.
We also got hands-on with some important camping skills. Everyone learned how to set up and take down a tent properly—something we’ll definitely use on our upcoming overnight trip. It was great to see everyone working together and helping each other out.
After a busy afternoon, we took a trip to Denny’s for supper—and wow, was it tasty! Pancakes, burgers, milkshakes… you name it, someone ordered it. It was a perfect way to relax and refuel.
But the day wasn’t over yet! We wrapped up with one final lesson, followed by a special treat: a visit from a comedian who gave us a hilarious (and surprisingly educational) performance all about improvisation. We even got to take part in a few of the improv games ourselves, which had everyone laughing and stepping a little outside their comfort zones.
From learning to laughter, today had it all. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
