The Adventure Begins!

Summer 2026 has officially kicked off at Wynchemna, and what a start it has been! Over the first two days, our team of seven new teachers included Will, Maddy, Cam, Kosta, Jordan, Cally, and Tarisha. They arrived from across the country, bags packed and ready for the summer ahead. The energy from day one has been nothing short of incredible, and we couldn't be more excited for what's to come.

One of the highlights of check-in? Getting our passports stamped! It's one of those Wynchemna traditions that never gets old: a small but meaningful moment that makes it feel official. The summer is real, and we are here for it.

After settling in and getting acquainted with the space, the group gathered to sign the Quarter Contract. This is the commitment at the heart of everything we do at Wynchemna: English only, full immersion, all in. Putting pen to paper together was a great reminder of why we're all here and what we're working toward as a team.

Of course, the best part of the first few days is simply getting to know the people you'll be spending the summer with. Between shared meals, late-night conversations, and plenty of laughs, Will, Maddy, Cam, Kosta, Jordan, Cally, and Tarisha are already starting to feel less like colleagues and more like a crew. It turns out seven teachers from different corners of Canada have a lot to talk about!
