Learning, Laughing, and Playing: Highlights from Today at Camp

Today was another amazing day at camp, packed with fun, learning, and laughter!

We kicked things off with a delicious breakfast shared with friends while music set a cheerful tone for the day. Campers enjoyed a hearty spread including eggs, bacon, waffles, Nutella, jam, fresh bread, and a variety of juices and chocolate milk — a perfect start to fuel a busy day ahead.

After breakfast, we jumped into our first two English lessons of the day. The topics were exciting and interactive: bingo, gratitude, friendship, idioms, and even creating our own hotel businesses. The creativity and energy in the classroom were inspiring!

Lunchtime brought even more smiles with a mouthwatering selection: steak and fries, chicken bowls, pulled pork sandwiches, and fish tacos — a true feast!

Following lunch, we wrapped up with our final English lesson, continuing our fun and engaging topics. Then, it was time for adventure!

We all boarded the bus for an afternoon of activities at the volleyball and climbing center. The ride was filled with lively conversation and laughter, a great reflection of the friendships growing at camp.

At the volleyball center, campers practiced volleying, spiking, and bumping, finishing off with a friendly game. Meanwhile, at the climbing center, kids challenged themselves on walls of varying difficulty, cheered on by their peers and one of our awesome teachers who joined in on the fun!

Dinner was a highlight in itself — served at the market mall with delicious Greek food: juicy chicken kebab skewers, steaming hot rice, warm bread, and creamy tzatziki sauce. Everyone left happy and full.

Back at the apartments, campers continued preparing for our upcoming talent show — we can’t wait to see what they’ve been working on! The evening wrapped up with some classic games like ping pong, pool, and air hockey, creating even more memories to end the day on a high note.

John was our student of the day for his amazing attitude, friendship, and great sportsmanship! Keep it going John, well done!
