Learning, Shopping, and Casino Fun!

Today was another exciting day at camp, packed with learning, laughter, and lots of adventure!

We kicked things off this morning with a lively classroom session where we reflected on our recent camping trip. The students dove into a discussion about their favorite moments—everything from roasting marshmallows by the fire to hiking scenic trails. Then, we got creative and started writing our very own articles about the trip. It was awesome to see everyone putting their experiences into words, and some of the stories were truly inspiring (and hilarious)!

After our brains got a workout, it was time to fuel up—so off we went to IKEA for lunch! The famous Swedish meatballs were a hit, and everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and unique dining experience.

The afternoon was all about shopping! We headed over to Chinook Mall for a day of browsing, trying on outfits, checking out gadgets, and maybe treating ourselves to a few souvenirs. Whether it was picking out the perfect hoodie or hunting down the best bubble tea, everyone had a blast.

But the real highlight of the day? Casino Night! In the evening, the camp transformed into a lively casino filled with games and excitement. Students played everything from blackjack and poker to roulette and more. Everyone collected “fun money” throughout the night, which led up to an epic auction at the end. Campers bid on some seriously cool prizes, and the competition was fierce—but friendly!

From creative writing to stylish shopping and a thrilling night of games, today was definitely one for the books. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
