Climbing Higher, Swinging Farther, and Laughing Together

What a fantastic day of new experiences, teamwork, and laughter our campers enjoyed! From trying exciting new activities to sharing a delicious meal and learning valuable life skills, it was a day full of memorable moments.

The day began with campers splitting their time between two exciting activities: golfing and rock climbing. At the golf course, students practiced their swings, challenged themselves on each hole, and encouraged one another as they worked to improve their skills. Meanwhile, at the climbing gym, campers pushed themselves to reach new heights, building confidence and determination with every climb. Whether it was making a long putt or ringing the bell at the top of the climbing wall, everyone celebrated each other’s achievements.

After an active afternoon, everyone came together to enjoy a well-earned pizza dinner. Sharing slices of pizza and chatting about the day’s adventures gave campers the chance to relax, laugh, and continue building friendships with students from around the world.

The evening ended with a truly unique experience as one of the talented actors from Loose Moose Theatre joined us for an interactive improvisation workshop. Through a variety of fun improv games and activities, students learned much more than just acting skills. They discovered the importance of confidence, listening, communication, adaptability, and saying “yes” to new opportunities. The workshop encouraged campers to step outside their comfort zones, support one another, and embrace mistakes as part of learning—all while sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

From hitting the golf course and climbing new heights to enjoying pizza and learning valuable life lessons through improvisation, it was another unforgettable day at Wynchemna ESL Summer Camp. We can’t wait to see what exciting adventures tomorrow will bring!
