The Great Calgarian Race: Wynchemna Edition!

Today was another action-packed day at Wynchemna Camp! We started the morning by waking up and enjoying a healthy and delicious selection of breakfast options to fuel up for everything the day had in store. With full stomachs and plenty of energy, our students headed into three English lessons, where they continued developing their language skills, learning new things, and of course, having plenty of fun along the way!

After a busy morning of learning, everyone was ready for lunch! We enjoyed a tasty meal of chicken, rice, and beans right here on the SAIT campus. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, recharge, and get ready for the biggest adventure of the day.

Then it was time for the Great Calgarian Race: Wynchemna Edition! Students headed out into the heart of Calgary and raced around the city, completing challenges, finding landmarks, discovering famous sights, and experiencing the city in a whole new way. Teams had to work together, communicate, explore, and use their English skills as they navigated their way through Calgary. It was an amazing way to see more of the city while building friendships and making unforgettable memories!

After all that racing, everyone had definitely worked up an appetite. Luckily, we had an incredible dinner waiting for us at Rajdoot Restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious Indian buffet-style meal. With so many tasty choices, everyone was able to try something new and enjoy a fantastic meal together.

We finished the evening with some well-deserved social bonding and activity time. Students relaxed, laughed, played games, and spent time together after another incredible day at camp. From the classroom to the streets of Calgary, today was full of learning, teamwork, adventure, and plenty of fun!
