A Taste of the World at Wynchemna

Today was a fantastic day at Wynchemna, filled with English learning, delicious food, teamwork, and a whole lot of international flavour! We started our morning by coming together for breakfast and getting ready for another exciting day at camp. After fuelling up, the students headed off to their first two English lessons, where they continued building their language skills while having fun with their classmates and teachers.

After working hard in class, everyone had definitely earned a tasty lunch! We headed out to Carl's Jr., where the students enjoyed a delicious meal and some time to relax and recharge. With full stomachs and plenty of energy, it was time to return to campus for our third and final English lesson of the day. Three lessons is a busy schedule, but our students did an amazing job!

But the day was far from over! In the afternoon, we set off on an exciting mission: shopping for our International Dinner! Students worked together in their country groups to find all the ingredients they needed to prepare a special dish representing their home country and culture. The excitement grew as everyone returned to campus, ready to get cooking!

Soon, the kitchen was filled with incredible smells, delicious food, and students busy preparing dishes from around the world. Our International Dinner was a wonderful celebration of the many different cultures and countries represented at Wynchemna. Everyone had the chance to try something new, share food from their home country, and enjoy an unforgettable meal together.

After dinner, the students showed some fantastic teamwork. Everyone came together to help clean up, wash dishes, organize the kitchen, and leave everything sparkling! It was a perfect way to finish a day that celebrated not only our differences but also how much we can accomplish when we work together. What a delicious and memorable day!
