Volleyball and a Good Grub - The Perect Day!

Today was one of those jam-packed camp days that felt like a week of fun rolled into 24 hours!

We started our morning with a delicious breakfast—a perfect mix of comforting classics and energizing options to get us ready for a busy day ahead. It’s always great to start the day with good food and good company.

Before lessons began, campers had a bit of time to get organized—and a few even managed to squeeze in some laundry, keeping those camp clothes fresh!

We then jumped into our first two lessons of the day. Everyone was focused and engaged, participating in activities, discussions, and language learning. There’s always something new to explore, and it’s exciting to see how much progress everyone is making.

By midday, it was time for lunch—and we were all more than ready. We walked to the mall together and enjoyed a tasty meal of pizza or pasta, with plenty of chatter and laughter at the tables.

After our meal, we headed back to camp for our third lesson of the day. Even with full bellies, everyone stayed sharp and brought great energy to the classroom. Way to finish strong!

Next up, we changed into our athletic gear and headed to the VolleyDome gym. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as we played games, encouraged each other, and had tons of fun being active together.

For dinner, we made our way to Denny’s, where we dug into a feast of chicken sandwiches, pancakes, and crispy hashbrowns—comfort food at its finest!

To close out the evening, we caught a live improv comedy show at Loose Moose Theatre. It was hilarious from start to finish, and the perfect way to unwind after such a full and energetic day.

We also want to give a big shoutout to our Student of the Day—Naomi! She stood out with her great attitude, active participation, and positive spirit. Congrats, Naomi—you earned it!

We wrapped up the night back at camp, ready for an early bedtime, because tomorrow is a big one, and we’ve got lots to look forward to.

Every day at Wynchemna is packed with fun, learning, and memories—and today was no exception. Let’s see what tomorrow brings!
