Pasta, Posters & Play: Preparing for Camp Adventures

Today was one of those camp days that had everything—from learning and laughter to pasta and water balloons!

We kicked off the morning with focused lessons, diving deep into fun educational activities. Everyone was engaged and excited. It was a great way to start the day feeling productive and energized.

After a full morning of learning, we were more than ready for lunch! We feasted on delicious Italian pasta, served warm and hearty. There’s something about pasta that just hits the spot after a busy morning, and judging by the clean plates, everyone agreed.

In the afternoon, things got creative as we split into our camping groups for a burst of team spirit. Each group made their own original camp songs, designed posters, and decorated t-shirts to represent their squad. It was amazing to see how much creativity and teamwork went into every design and lyric. Camp pride was running high!

Then it was time to put our group spirit to the test with some friendly camp games. We went head-to-head in challenges that had us running, laughing, and cheering each other on. The competition was fierce—but fun!

To top it all off, we wrapped up the day with a well-earned pizza dinner (because, honestly, is there a better post-game meal than pizza?). But the real highlight? A massive water balloon fight to cool down and end the day with a splash. Shrieks of joy echoed around camp as balloons flew, water splashed, and no one stayed dry.

Today had the perfect mix of learning, creativity, competition, and just plain fun. Days like this remind us why camp is such a special experience. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
