A Smashing Time at Buffalo Jump

What a wonderful day at Wynchemna!

We started our day by having breakfast with our breakfast rooms. After breakfast we jumped on the bus for a day of adventure. We started by going to Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump! This is a UNESCO world heritage site then has been used for thousands of years by the Blackfoot confederacy. We walked this area after learning the history!

We then had a delicious picnic in the park which included sandwiches, tomatoes, cucumbers, bruschetta and scrumptious sweets! We then hoped back on the bus and did some fun sing along songs! Are next stop was Lundbreck falls which was a gorgeous waterfall that we swam at! The cold water was a Canadian rite of passage for our students. We then went back to bus and played some games!

We next arrived at Frank Slide another historical site with intensive history. We hiked the rocks that now cover the buried city! Then we travelled to our next location to have dinner. This dinner was had at a beautiful lake with an incredible view. We indulged in sausages, salad, blueberries, oranges, cherries, some sweet treats and a variety of sauces!

We then played some sports in the park before travelling home for the night. What a life we live at Wynchemna!
