Climbing High and Hitting Home Runs!

What a fantastic day at Wynchemna! We started the morning with a big breakfast together, giving everyone a chance to spend time with their new groups, catch up with friends, and get ready for another exciting day of adventures.

After breakfast, it was time for our English lessons! Today, students talked about their bucket lists and shared some of the exciting things they hope to experience in the future. We also worked on public speaking, helping everyone build confidence and practise expressing their ideas in front of others. There were plenty of interesting dreams and ambitions shared, and who knows—maybe some of these bucket-list adventures will become a reality one day!

After working hard in class, we enjoyed a delicious lunch on campus before heading off for an afternoon of adventure. First up was rock climbing! Students challenged themselves to reach new heights, encouraging one another and celebrating every climb. There were plenty of cheers and smiles as everyone pushed themselves to see just how high they could go!

Once we had conquered the climbing wall, it was time to head outside and learn a new sport: baseball! Students learned the basics before putting their new skills to the test in an exciting three-inning game. With some impressive hits, speedy running, and lots of teamwork, everyone had a fantastic time.

After all that activity, we headed to Boston Pizza for a delicious Canadian dinner. With full stomachs, we continued getting to know one another by playing Get to Know You BINGO while watching the sun slowly set over Calgary's beautiful skyline. It was a perfect evening for making new friends and enjoying the incredible views.

But the day wasn't over yet! Students got into groups to plan the meals they will be cooking for tomorrow's International Dinner. Everyone shared ideas and started preparing for what promises to be a delicious evening celebrating the many cultures represented at Wynchemna.

Finally, students had some free time to mingle, relax, and enjoy each other's company before heading off to bed. Another amazing day, another collection of memories—and tomorrow, the International Dinner awaits!
