All Bets Are Off: Wynchemna Casino Night!

After a well-deserved chance to sleep in, our Junior campers were refreshed and ready for another exciting day at Wynchemna! The morning kicked off with three engaging English lessons, where students continued building their language skills while sharing plenty of laughs with classmates and teachers along the way.

Once the lessons wrapped up, it was time to head over to the University of Calgary for lunch. With full stomachs and recharged energy, the afternoon brought a more relaxed pace as students enjoyed board games and spent time preparing for the upcoming talent show alongside our Senior campers. From practicing performances to cheering on new ideas, the excitement for showtime is definitely building!

For dinner, we made our way to Carl's Jr., where students enjoyed a delicious meal before the main event of the evening: our spectacular Wynchemna Casino Night!

The casino was buzzing with excitement as students tried their luck at all kinds of games, tested their strategies, and collected winnings throughout the night. Between rounds, campers enjoyed tasty snacks, including refreshing ice cream floats and crunchy chips, making the evening feel even more festive.

The highlight of the night was our silent auction, where students carefully considered their bids and eagerly waited to see if they would walk away with some fantastic prizes. The room was filled with anticipation, laughter, and friendly competition right until the very end.

From English lessons to casino chips, today was packed with unforgettable memories, and we can't wait to see what adventures tomorrow has in store for our Wynchemna family!
