Another Marvel-ous Day at Wynchemna!

Today was another action-packed day at Wynchemna, packed with learning, laughter, and a little superhero magic!

The morning began with two fantastic English lessons where students continued building their confidence through speaking, listening, reading, and teamwork. Every class was full of energy as students challenged themselves to use more English while having fun with their classmates. It's always exciting to see everyone becoming more comfortable communicating each day!

After a delicious lunch, it was time for an afternoon adventure at Chinook Shopping Centre. But before anyone started filling their shopping bags, the entire camp gathered together for a special movie experience. Students watched the brand-new Spider-Man movie, and it was safe to say it was a huge hit! There were exciting action scenes, funny moments, and plenty of cheers as everyone enjoyed the latest adventure of everyone's favourite web-slinging superhero.

Once the credits rolled, it was time for students to explore the mall in small groups. With a few hours of independent shopping, everyone was on the hunt for something special. From clothing and shoes to souvenirs, snacks, and gifts for family back home, students returned with smiling faces—and in many cases, noticeably lighter wallets! It was a wonderful opportunity to practice English in real-life situations while exploring one of Calgary's most popular shopping destinations.

To finish off the day, everyone gathered for a well-earned dinner at A&W, where students enjoyed classic Canadian favourites while sharing stories about their movie highlights and shopping finds. After a little free time to relax back at camp, everyone settled in for the evening, already looking forward to tomorrow's adventures.

Every day at Wynchemna brings new experiences, new friendships, and unforgettable memories—and today was certainly no exception!
