Racing Through Calgary & Building Friendships!

Today was a day full of excitement, teamwork, and discovery here at camp!

We kicked off the morning by eating breakfast in our brand-new groups. It was great to meet new faces and start building friendships right away. To help break the ice, we played a fun game of Friendship Bingo — a perfect way to learn quirky and cool facts about each other!

After some laughs and new connections, it was time to fuel up with a delicious lunch (yum!). Then, we put on our thinking caps for the placement exam. Everyone did their best, and we’re proud of how focused and determined everyone was.

The real adventure began in the afternoon with The Great Canadian Race! This exciting city-wide scavenger hunt had us racing through Calgary, discovering landmarks, and interacting with locals to learn more about this amazing city. It was a fantastic way to get moving, explore, and have tons of fun as a team.

We ended the race at a cozy Indian restaurant, where we were rewarded with a mouth-watering dinner that left everyone full and happy. After our feast, we hopped on the train back to SAIT, tired but smiling.

To wrap up the day, we started organizing our cultural displays for the upcoming International Supper. We can't wait to share food, traditions, and stories from all around the world later this week!

What a day! We’re already looking forward to what tomorrow will bring 🌍❤️🍛🚆
