Day IV and V - Orientation Camping Trip - Olympics and Mountain Bike Adventures!
Enjoying a later wake-up time was a great way to start our last day at the camp site. The day began with a delicious breakfast of French toast, giving everyone plenty of energy for the adventures ahead.
After breakfast, we worked together to take down and pack away our tents. It was great to see everyone pitching in and helping one another as we cleaned up our campsite and got organized for the day.
Next came one of the highlights of the trip—our very own Olympic Games! Teachers competed in a variety of fun challenges that brought out plenty of laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition. Whether we were concentrating, strategizing, or cheering each other on, everyone had a fantastic time.
The excitement continued with an afternoon mountain biking adventure. We explored scenic trails, enjoyed the fresh mountain air, and challenged ourselves on the winding paths. It was a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the beautiful surroundings while staying active.
Once our activities were complete, we settled in for a relaxing drive back to our residence. Along the way, we reflected on the memories we had made and shared stories from the trip, while appreciating the breathtaking scenery of the rocky mountains.
After arriving back, we unpacked our gear and got everything organized. To finish off the day, we gathered together for a shared dinner. It was a chance to enjoy good food, celebrate our adventures, and spend time together before concluding an unforgettable camping experience.
The teacher orientation camping trip was filled with fun, teamwork, and outdoor adventure. From French toast breakfasts to Olympic competitions, mountain biking, and shared meals, it was a day full of memories that will stay with us throughout this wonderful summer!
