Dinosaurs, Badlands, and Big Adventures!

Today was a day millions of years in the making as Wynchemna students set off for an unforgettable adventure to Drumheller, Alberta's dinosaur capital!

Before hitting the road, students started the morning with another great round of lessons, sharpening their English skills and preparing for a day full of discovery. Once classes wrapped up, it was time to load up the buses and head out for an exciting journey into Alberta's famous Badlands.

After a morning of learning, it was time to refuel with a delicious meal back at SAIT. Great food, good conversations, and a chance to relax gave everyone the energy they needed for the adventure.

The day wasn't over yet! Our next stop brought us to the breathtaking views of Horseshoe Canyon. Students explored the unique landscape, took photos of the stunning scenery, and experienced the beauty of Alberta's Badlands up close. The rolling hills and dramatic rock formations made it feel like we had landed on another planet.

Next, the Dino adventures continued with the Royal Tyrell Museum! Towering skeletons, fascinating exhibits, and hands-on discoveries brought prehistoric creatures to life as students wandered through galleries filled with fossils and ancient history. There were plenty of "wow" moments as everyone came face-to-face with some of the largest animals to ever walk the Earth!

By the time we returned, students were tired but full of stories, photos, and memories from an incredible day of learning and adventure. From ancient dinosaurs to spectacular canyons, today reminded us that some of the best classrooms don't have walls.

It was a prehistoric-sized adventure that won't soon be forgotten!
