New Faces, Fresh Starts, Flying Dodgeball!

Today was a special one at camp as we welcomed a whole bunch of new students into our community! From morning to evening, new arrivals were checking in, settling into their rooms, and starting to explore everything camp has to offer. Our students who’ve already been here for a week were incredibly helpful—showing new campers around, explaining how things work, and making sure everyone felt right at home. The sense of community is truly growing stronger every day.

We kicked things off with a stellar breakfast that had everyone energized and ready to go—huge thanks to our kitchen team for starting the day on a high note.

After a week packed with activities, it was also time for our first laundry day. Not the most glamorous moment, perhaps, but an important one. Campers took the time to catch up, clean up, and learn the basics of taking care of their things. It was great to see everyone—new and seasoned—pitching in and helping each other through the process.

Morning lessons followed, and then we took a short trip to Northill Mall for lunch. It was a nice chance for campers to relax and mingle in a new setting—especially great for the new arrivals getting to know their peers.

Back on campus, we wrapped up laundry, finished up our afternoon lessons, and ended the day with a group dinner—Chicken On The Way, delivered hot and fresh by our awesome teaching staff. It hit the spot!

To cap off the evening, we jumped into a high-energy game of dodgeball, where laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition ruled the court.

With new friendships forming and everyone finding their place, today marked a fresh and exciting chapter in our summer adventure. We can’t wait to see how this amazing group continues to grow together!
