From the Classroom to the Comedy Club: Today’s Camp Highlights

We kicked off a fantastic Saturday by fueling up at breakfast before heading straight into our morning lessons, where the campers completely blew us away with their participation and bridge building abilities! After successfully conquering chore time with a productive group laundry session, we headed over to the University of Calgary food court for a fun lunch out, giving everyone a chance to mix, mingle, and choose their favourite meals. The afternoon was packed with great energy as we set up base camp for a double feature of entertainment: breaking out a massive variety of board games while simultaneously cheering along during the England vs. Norway soccer match. It made for a perfect balance of friendly competition, strategic thinking, and team spirit as everyone rallied together.

The excitement only grew as we headed into the evening highlights! We treated the group to a classic diner dinner at Denny's which is always a huge crowd-pleaser, where the table was full of great conversations, stories from the week, and plenty of smiles. To cap off an already stellar day, we made our way to the Loose Moose Comedy Club for an unforgettable evening of live improv. The show was an absolute hit; the performers had the entire room in stitches, laughing so hard that our ribs ached. It was a wonderful, laughter-filled day from start to finish, and the perfect showcase of just how much fun this group is having together!
